Christie seems to be doing well. I hear she is showing her humorous side that I have known she has always had. I do know she goes on field trips with her class on Thursdays. They go to parks and to Wal Mart. I don't know how she is doing grade wise as I haven't received any report cards or progress reports this year from Richard and the school per Richard's request can't share any of that with me.
Christie continues to tell me how much she misses Joy Bear and asks me do I have her. She says she is lonely and sad and that she misses Joy Bear. There are other things she tells me but as this update is getting lengthy I will stop here. Please continue to Pray for the up coming court dates.
Thank You,
Becky and Christie

I went to middle school with Christie. I remember her as an energetic and fun loving girl who was never too busy to help when I just could not figure out a math problem. I moved away in eighth grade and just recently was told about christie and this blog. I am so sorry for everything that she is having to go through. I am about to be a mother and i can't imagine what it would be like to have to see your daughter like this. Christie has always been a strong person even with being picked on in school like we were she always seemed to hold her head high and find the best in people. As a soon to be mother it made me cry to think about how much someone's child has had to go through just to survive. You and Christie are my rolemodel's she has shown that no matter what life throws at you it is our job to never give up and find the silver lining in any situation. And you have to be the strongest woman i have ever heard of, to have the strength to stand by your daughter and be the rock that she needs is amazing. I am so very proud to say that christie has touched my life, and she will be in the prayers of my family and myself!
